Powder Term Application

Thank you for your interest in Powder Term!

Application Process:

  • Families will create a parent dashboard. This dashboard will allow you to review additional information about our programs and apply for a term. Each child will require a separate application.

  • There are two parts to the application: parent questions and student essays.

Tuition:

  • Powder Term tuition is $12,500 and includes everything but the student’s flight and related travel expenses to/from our location in Durango (DRO) and a required LifeId Band.

  • Parents must secure their student’s ski pass to Purgatory Resort and are either given the cost as a credit after purchase or as a discount on tuition.

Scholarships:

  • The Discover Term Foundation may be able to help financially support your student attending Powder Term. If your family needs financial support, you will be required to complete a supplemental scholarship application.
